Who we are

Sioux Falls Stroll Club is a South Dakota nonprofit corporation (South Dakota Business ID NS330419) run entirely by volunteers. The club does not yet have IRS 501(c)(3) status, so gifts are not currently tax-deductible.

Events

Events are free unless a page says otherwise. An RSVP helps us plan, and it is not a ticket or a guarantee of a spot, food, or an activity. Dates, times, and locations can change, and events can be cancelled for weather, permits, or anything else. We post changes on the event page and on our social accounts, and email RSVPs when we can.

Kids are your responsibility. You bring them, you watch them. Volunteers are not childcare, and parks, trails, playgrounds, kayaks, climbing gyms, and city sidewalks all carry ordinary risks. By attending you accept those risks for yourself and the children you bring, and you agree not to hold the club, its board, its volunteers, or its partners and venues responsible for injury or loss except where the law does not allow that.

Some venues require their own waiver, which they will ask you to sign on arrival. Please follow the venue’s rules and the City of Sioux Falls park rules.

Be decent. This is a family space. Harassment, discrimination, or behavior that makes others feel unsafe means we will ask you to leave, and you may not be welcome back.

Photos. Volunteers take photos at events for the site, newsletter, and social media. See the privacy policy for how to opt out.

Using the site

Give us accurate information when you RSVP or write to us. Do not RSVP for people who have not asked you to, and do not use the forms to send spam, scrape the site, or probe it for weaknesses.

The writing, photos, and logo on this site belong to the club unless credited to someone else. Press images belong to the outlets that published them, and partner logos belong to those partners. You may share links and short quotes freely. Ask before reusing photos or the logo.

Links to other sites, including our newsletter host, partner websites, and news stories, are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

Sponsorships and donations

Sponsor recognition on this site is an acknowledgment, not an endorsement of a sponsor’s products or services. Gifts to the club are used for club purposes, and we send a thank-you for every one. We will tell donors when tax-deductible status changes.

The site is provided as-is

We work hard to keep event details accurate, but this is a volunteer-run site and mistakes happen. It is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the club’s total liability for anything arising from the site is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is nothing.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the current version is always at this page with its effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Minnehaha County, South Dakota.
